Camira Dental was founded in 1992 by the current owner-operators, Bryan and Ros Dowse. At the time, there was no dentist local to the Camira area and the developing Springfield corridor. Bryan, a qualified dentist and an Ipswich local, saw the opportunity to start a clinic that offers quality dental services to the local area.
Over time, the business has grown to employ 3 dentists and a team of dental assistants. Meanwhile, Ros looks after business operations behind the scenes.
Our purpose is to offer a trusted dental care service to the local community. We aim to make every dental visit a positive one. Our dentists use innovative pain-free techniques and explain treatments to you in detail. Priding ourselves on offering honest advice, the welfare of our patients is our priority.
Highly Experienced Dentists
Bryan Dowse, the principal dentist at Camira Dental, has decades of experience in dentistry. We take pride in our professionalism, and our experienced team always puts patient needs first.
Local Specialists Since 1992
Camira Dental has been caring for Ipswich locals since 1992, making it the longest-standing dental clinic in Camira. Since the beginning, our focus is on the welfare of our patients.
We use innovative, pain-free techniques to ensure your visit with us is as comfortable as possible. Our team takes the time to explain your treatment carefully before starting.
No surprise costs or up-selling over here! We quote all services upfront, so you know what the final price will be before consenting to the treatment.
Meet the Team
Our Dental Assistants are all encouraged to attend college and achieve Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
When you call our practice, you'll be connected to a person and not an answering machine. The high level of training our assistants have means they'll be able to help you with most of your enquiries. A certificate 3 in dental assisting is a 1-year part-time vocational course with on-site training to obtain the necessary skills for the profession.
Skills such as competency in infection control, practice management, and chairside assisting are mandatory requirements.
